'Got Dreams Bigger Than Texas' Hotel Mural

Our Texas-themed mural in the brand new C. Baldwin Hotel Good 2 Go Café

We’ve got big dreams, and so does the developer of the brand new C. Baldwin Hotel that went up in Houston, TX! This hotel is all about Lady Power, so you know we were into it.

Painted in the hotel’s specific hues of rosy pinks and beige, this mural was more intricate than our signature style of big, bold lettering. Featuring iconic Houston imagery like the bluebonnet (the Texas state flower), pecan tree leaves, and the names of some Houston founders, we also featured some tasty treats and sweet tea as this mural lives in the hotel’s cafe.

To install this mural we worked with one of our wonderful collective members, Margaret Braun. Being a trained sign painter, Margaret has tons of technical experience, and really understands the mural process- making her perfect for the job. Attentive to detail and an amazing artist, being a Texas resident made this mural even closer to her heart.
