Little Italy Mural for Kilroy Realty

A live painting experience for the launch of a new Kilroy Realty building in San Diego’s Little Italy.

This mural was done as part of a live painting experience at the groundbreaking celebration for an amazing new Kilroy Realty building that went up in Little Italy, San Diego. Live painting is such a blast because we get to meet and interact with everyone who commissioned the mural and their guests. Murals + cocktails all night long? Count us in.

Kilroy wanted something colorful and fun, but also something that looked like it fit in well with the space. They reached out to us days before the event, so we had a very short timeline - but the canvas wasn’t huge, so it was an easy turnaround. We painted on a moveable canvas, and wanted to create something that could look good against any wall. There is a lot of brick in the area, so we used the brick motif as a backdrop before bringing in some custom hand lettering and bright colors to bring the Little Italy Mural to life!
